 Reconditioned Defined

 

Standard procedure for a reconditioned Goss SSC Folder:

1.    Dismantle folder as required (Knife and Jaw cylinders removed if bearing or bore wear is evident from dial indicator testing).

2.    The folder and connecting parts are thoroughly cleaned

3.    Equipment is repainted to original factory color.

4.    Side frames and bores are inspected and re-bored as necessary.

5.    All worn bearings and bushings are replaced

6.    All consumables are replaced i.e. pins, pin post, grippers, stripper shoes etc.

7.    All cam followers are replaced, cams are replaced as necessary.

8.    Knife box is completely rebuilt

9.    All nipping rings are replaced

10.  Nip shafts are replaced as necessary

11.  Cylinders inspected for wear and repaired

12.  RTF roller is replaced

13.  Trolley wheels are replaced

14.  Ring and pinion gears replaced with new.

15.  Internal drive line replaced with new if worn.

16.  Replace all nuts, bolts, fasteners etc.

17.  Gears inspected and replaced as required.

18.  Quarter fold knurled rollers replaced

19.  Quarter fold drive shafts replaced if worn

20.  Reassemble folder using all factory spec’s

21.  Test run machine at top rated speed

22.  Perform electrical and mechanical checks.

23.  Rust Proof Folder and associated parts

24.  Load Truck or container for shipment.

Warranty:

One Year parts warranty: Web Goss specialist Inc warrants this equipment to be free from defects in material and workmanship.  WGS agrees to repair or replace, at it’s option, without charge for parts for any item proven to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use, within six months after delivery, provided that purchaser shall WGS prompt notice of such defect.  WGS shall not be liable for any parts replaced, repairs, modifications, or changes made by others, or for any defects resulting from shipment, or improper installation (if done by others), or improper operation, or inadequate maintenance; and in no event shall WGS be liable for losses arising from or in connection with this transaction. This warranty does not include labor, freight, or replacement of consumable items.
